Valentine’s Day: Tiffany for Him

When it comes to Valentine’s day Graham and I like to keep it simple and it usually goes something like this…

Graham: “Hey what do you want to do for Valentine’s day this year?”

Ashley: “Uhm, I don’t know what do you want to do?”

Graham: “I don’t know what do you want to do?”

Graham & Ashley: “Let’s just make dinner, drink wine, and watch a movie!”

Graham: “Yass!”

Ashley: “Yass!”

Long story short, you don’t need to get anyone a gift to express how much you love and cherish them this V-day. However, if you want to and need a last minute idea to point you in the right direction, Tiffany’s for men SPORT Cologne is a gift he’ll use every day.

They don’t see it online anymore, but you can find it at any Tiffany & Co. store!

Happy Valentine’s Day guys! Have fun sharing the love!

NYC: What I Did and Yes, I’m Engaged!

As many of you know, I was on vacation in NYC in December for six days! It was my first time in the city and of course, I immediately fell in love. The buildings, the lights, the people — I was addicted.

For this trip, we stayed at The Kimberly Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. It was a perfect location just a few blocks away from Grand Central Station and Central Park. The Kimberly has a swanky vibe with an elegant European flair. It felt like home away from home for the week.

We visited so many tourist spots in the city, walking about eight miles every day (no joke). Let’s just say I got the full NYC experience! Although it was a little chilly, we broke out our winter coats and got in the mood for the holiday season. I was thrilled we were able to make the trip this time of year because of how the city is decorated. All of the Christmas lights and the elaborate store window displays made the city feel magical.

Oh.. and I got engaged. And, yes, I am still floating! 🙂

Check out everything we did day by day below:

Cozy Staples

Fall is my favorite season! I love the cooler weather and getting to wear cozy oversized fabrics. This sweater from Shein is a fun, vibrant color with a lantern hem sleeve. It is lightweight, but warm and perfect for a fall transition! Layered over a striped graphic tee from Old Navy and some black denim jeans by Missguided creates an effortless fall look.

Original Skin

In the winter, when my skin tends to get dry, dull, and flaky. I’m always on the hunt for products to give me back my radiant glow. That is why I turned to Origins Original Skin set.

My favorite is the Rose Clay mask. It works as an exfoliant that helps create a fresh canvas for your moisturizer and serum. It shrinks your pores and gets rid of those pesky blackheads that appear on your nose.

The Matte moisturizer with Willowherb is hydrating and has a pleasant, faint orange citrus scent. It absorbs into the skin leaving it exquisitely soft.

The renewal serum illuminates and fills fine lines to create a smooth base that almost exiles concealers. It’s a soft pearl pink which also slightly color corrects.

Overall, the mask, moisturizer, and serum were exactly what I needed to give my skin a little pick-me-up this winter season. All three are worth the buy and last a long time even using it everyday.
