SHOP:

For 2017, this year is not just about having determination for Black + Black — it is about taking risks, being courageous, and trying new styles.

When I came across Jord Watches, I was excited to try a wood watch the was unique and different from any watch I’ve purchased before. Their watches are made from natural wood and the brand is focused on creating timepieces that are for people who don’t just have somewhere to be, they have somewhere to go.

My watch, The Reece series is dark polished walnut wood with a navy blue face and silver hardware. Worn with flower embroidered denim and a black turtleneck, this wood watch pairs well with anything. And since spring often requires some seriously challenging wardrobe decisions it’s nice to have a watch that can transition throughout the seasons.

Also, the design is unisex which can give it a sporty look when worn with sneakers and a hoodie. I’ve always had a touch of tomboy edge to my style and with this watch, you get the best of both worlds – feminine and masculine.
