Revlon Lips & L’Oréal Eyes

Beauty enthusiasts everywhere can agree: we love high-preforming drug store makeup. Nothing is more exciting than scoring grade A lipstick or mascara without spending a fortune, especially when the product is just as good as a brand name. With so many options down the drug store beauty aisle to choose from, it can be hard to know which drug store beauty products are worth your money.

It’s always smart to read reviews on the drug store hair, makeup and skin care products in order to get the best budget friendly bang for your buck from drug store brands. Here are two products worth the purchase:

  1. Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color

Matte lip colors are my favorite. The new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip color is a 100% wax-free formula that leaves your lips with a velvety, lightweight and long lasting finish all day. The product comes in a frosted gloss tube with a reflective silver applicator brush that’s doe-footed with flattened sides. It acts as a gloss by moisturizing the lips to improve the texture but drys flat to the desired color like a lipstick.

My favorite shades are HD Love and HD addiction!

2. L’ORÉAL Double Extend Lash Extension Effect Mascara

L’Oréal’s Double Extend mascara works to make your lashes look both longer and healthier. The mascara is a two-step system where the first step nourishes while the second step lengthens. I love this mascara because of the length it gives my lashes and it’s smudge-proof, long-wearing formula.

I use this product by first applying two coats of the white primer and wait at least ten seconds between each application. While the primer drys, I’ll do my eyebrows and then apply the second step of black mascara. Make sure you wait at least a minute between each application to prevent from clumping.

NOTES:

  • This product is hard to remove so use baby oil and gently remove the mascara from your eyes.
  • Most drug stores allow you to return purchased makeup products. So, if you try a new shade of lipstick and hate it, don’t worry! Just save your receipt and take a quick trip back.

What else is in my bag?

  1. Pottery Barn Selfie Compact Mirror (sold out)
  2. ZeroUV TRENDY HIGH FASHION METAL TRIM HORNED RIM SUNGLASSES
